This amazing video has been removed from Youtube, but--at least temporarily--you can find it here.

It is mind boggling how many lives were taken in this war. This was a pretty cool video though. I thought it was interesting how it showed how the North split the confederacy into three different parts.

I love this because it showed me how everything actually worked out. It was a great help.

I actually thought this video was really helpful. It visually showed me  what actually happened instead of me just thinking about it on my own and possibly getting it wrong. I liked how it also showed all of the deaths, like how many and where they all happened.

I found this video very helpful in explaning the Civil War.  I was a little confused on when and where the battles were taking place but this video helped sum it up for me.  Also it was a great visual to show how the north split the south in half.

Excellent sum up of the number of injuries/casualties, I didn't like this only because of the correct information , but also because it gave me a visual on where the battles happened and how many casualties there were in each area.

I liked this because it gives a good understanding of both sides during the war. It shows the tactics of  the North, and what made them successful in the war.

I thought the video did a great job at explaining the civil war. Also the video generally helped me picture the cicil war tactics. I thought it was kind of cool how it showed th Union stratagies such as taking the mississippi river area and the march to the sea. Finnaly it gave me a much greater perspective on the magnitude of the war and casualties.

I love this clip. I actually went down to the Lincoln Museum in Springfield, and it was a great experiece. I remembered watching this movie down their and when I watched it again, I truely realized how the war impacted each side, such as the total men lost. I liked the parts in the movie where you could actually see where the major battles happened. This gave me a greater understanding of where each battle was fought and who controlled the most land at any given time.

At first when I heard that we were going to watch this I honestly wasnt that excited about it, but while the video went along I started to see how much determination each side put into trying to win the war. I really liked the parts of the video where you would see how the North and South kept capturing and then losing parts of land and it also helped me better understand the stratigies that each side prefered to use in the war.

9/11 Skylines and Turnstiles

I'm not usually someone who writes a lot , not publicly anyway but I do love to express my self through art, usually visual art but most of the time the art I make is influenced by something . In this case it's a song a written by one of my favorite musicians as a response to the feeling of horror and disbelief as he watched the Twin Towers in New York go from icons to ruins on 9/11/01. The song is sad,…See More
