For me, technology is an extremely important aspect in my life. In the past 10 years we have gone from using dial-up, 56k narrowband Internet connection, to over 50 Mbps (mega bits per second.) We have gone from having small, 4x5 box-like TVs, to having TVs over 100 inches in length, and being less than an inch thick, while still maintaining the ability to display 3D motion pictures. 10 years ago, we were using floppy disks with computers to back up our data. Today, I don't think any computers even come with a floppy disk slot
We've obviously come a long way in just the past 10 years with technology, so what do you all predict we will have in the next
10 years? Robot doctors performing surgeries? Televisions that read our mind to predict what show would put us in the best mood? Maybe even a self-cleaning house, assisted with robo-vaccuums that are disguised as furniture, to flow seamlessly with the style of the house!
Okay, maybe the last one was a bit crazy, but the point is that we won't ever know what we will have in 10 years because we can't tell the future, but we CAN predict what we will have, and plan ahead around these predictions. iPods and Flat screen TVs were our last "Big Thing." What do you guys think will be the "Next Big Thing"?
