The Fremd High School American Studies Ning

So junior year is coming to an end. That means in a couple months we will be coming back to William Fremd High School as SENIORS! I don't know about anyone else, but all of the seniors I have talked to this year say they are more than ready to graduate. Personally I don't think I'll have the same opinion a year from now...

Everyone can't wait to get away from their parents and be on their own. But leaving high school means leaving friends behind and things changing. I have mixed feelings about graduating. There are times when I feel just like the seniors this year and can't wait. And then there's times when I'm scared of what will happen. I guess what I want is to hear other people's opinions on senior year and graduation.

Are you ready for it? Or do you wish we could hold it off longer?

Im excited but scared, I cant wait to leave this city and expierence life on my own! But at the same time I think that I will get a little home sick and miss my family and friends. I was actually talking to my friends last week about how I wonder if our little group is going to still be friends after college. My mom is still bestfriends with her 2 bestfriends from high school and I hope that Ill still stay friends with mine as well.

I am defiantly ready for a change. High school was exciting at first but now it is getting old. The only thing I am dreading is making that hard decision on where to go.

I think high school as a whole is a challenge, but a blessing at the same time. I am excited about college though, since it will begin a new chapter in my life. I'm sure that college will also be a challenge, but hopefully I will learn more...

Even as a junior i am ready to graduate. I have no desire to be in this school another year. I loved Fremd high school and i feel i have learned a lot but my time here s over. College life is going to be a completly new expierence.

I cant wait for senior year and graduation. The entire year is filled with fun and exciting things that you only get to do once. Graduation is bittersweet though. You have to leave so much behind like your friends and family and everything that your comfortable with but thats just a part of life and you have to start somewhere.

I'm ready to finish junior year, that's for sure. I'm really excited about becoming a senior, but I'm still a little scared about college. It's gonna be so different... But I'm probably making it sound even harder than what it actually is. I moved a lot my whole life, so I'm pretty used to getting used to things. I'm scared now, but I'm sure everything will be fine :)

yeah, i'm def ready for senior year. honestly, i've been ready to graduate since my first day as a freshman. my senior year is going to be a bit different than most peoples because i'm taking at least a year off before college, so i wont be filling out college applications and all the stuff during the year. i'm ready for change and to move on to the next chapter in my life, but i am going to miss all my friends and people.

"There are many options out there, but to standardize is to tell a lot of teachers to learn something new or unfamiliar... it's a tricky subject.  That's why I'd love to start my own school, powered by Edmodo, Ning, etc :)"

9/11 Skylines and Turnstiles

I'm not usually someone who writes a lot , not publicly anyway but I do love to express my self through art, usually visual art but most of the time the art I make is influenced by something . In this case it's a song a written by one of my favorite musicians as a response to the feeling of horror and disbelief as he watched the Twin Towers in New York go from icons to ruins on 9/11/01. The song is sad,…See More
