Really?!?! That's your question?

"Uh I like want to like know what like kids today can like do to like travel like you did in London. Like travel is like more expensive like now a days and like uh I was wondering if you like think that it is like still like possible. Like my teacher said if there is a like a will then there is like a way." This is my interpretation of one of the questions a girl asked at the Barry Miles performance the other day. The platinum blond college student stood up in front of the entire auditorium to ask this one question to Barry Miles, who traveled all the way from London.

Throughout grade school and high school, teachers have been telling us that there is no such thing as a stupid question. Well I would like to beg to differ. I think that a lot of times people open their mouths just to hear themselves talk and don't think about how it sounds. The girl at the Barry Miles auditorium stood up and asked two "questions" that didn't even need a response and she didn't even listen to the response. I think people like that should keep their questions to themselves. Although I do think that some people contribute very valuable questions I think there are some that shouldn't be spoken aloud.
