I would define myself as a follower of God, a person of wonder, cautious, confusing at times, an explorer, and maybe a few other things. What I define myself as is different from what you define yourself as. We may share things in common but we’re not the same. Defining yourself comes from you’re hopes, dreams, and what you value. Some things may define you more than others. What others define you as, also has a role in who you are. Other’s can sometimes see what you can’t. Have you ever applied for something and you have to answer one of those questions about yourself, but you have no idea what to put? That’s where the others come in. But don’t let what they think completely rock your world. You’re the one in control of the definition of yourself.

"Many factors contribute to the identity of a person. But in the end, a person's identity lies within himself and how he decides to live his life. "  - unknown

What defines a person? The way they look? The way they act? How they dress? What they believe to be true? What defines you? Maybe it’s the things you say that people find intriguing, or by your talents, or maybe by your family and friends. I have no idea, but is what you’re defined by what you want to be defined as? Or do you even want to be defined at all? How do you define yourself?

I think that things that define you are the decisions you've made or unfortunately made for you. You can strive to be a better student, but not study or do your homework, but still try to be a good student. Does that make you a good student?

Everything defines a person. People judge and they may not know the whole truth. No one should be defined based off other people. They should only be seen as an individual.

To me, what defines a person is the way they can hold themselves in public. Personality is the most vivid part of a person and before looks and and how they dress (all the superficial stuff) I always see personality. Are they approachable? Self absorbed? Friendly? Quiet? these are all qualities that are the BASE of who people are. After that comes actions, looks and interests.

It's odd to me that people try to define themselves; definitions only applies to words and ideas, actual objects are described.  I won't venture to even describe myself if I can avoid it.  Rather, people can see me as they like.  What's really important is being comfortable with yourself.

"There are many options out there, but to standardize is to tell a lot of teachers to learn something new or unfamiliar... it's a tricky subject.  That's why I'd love to start my own school, powered by Edmodo, Ning, etc :)"

9/11 Skylines and Turnstiles

I'm not usually someone who writes a lot , not publicly anyway but I do love to express my self through art, usually visual art but most of the time the art I make is influenced by something . In this case it's a song a written by one of my favorite musicians as a response to the feeling of horror and disbelief as he watched the Twin Towers in New York go from icons to ruins on 9/11/01. The song is sad,…See More
