GLEE: the new sensation

"Glee" is the new sensation among teens these days. Its the new musical comedy show on fox. It is a great show about high school teenagers in a show choir that get picked on for being outcasts. This TV show shows different stereotypes and how teens get treated when they are the odd one out but also shows how teens handle these kind of situations like getting made fun of and getting slushy thrown in their face. "Glee" is based off of Prospect High School's show choir back in the day.

The music used in "Glee" ranges from old school to broadway music to songs that are on the charts now. Some songs that have been used are "Don't Stop Believin'," "Sweet Caroline," "My Life Would Suck Without You," and "Defying Gravity." This is a show that pulls in a great range of audience from kids to adults.

I'm basically obsessed! Right now I'm not caught up, I probably have 5 episodes on my dvr to watch. My sister and I will have a glee marathon soon to catch up. I can't wait!

I LOVE GLEE! I had no idea that Prospect's choir was the inspiration behind it! That's so cool! My favorite characters are definitely Puck and Finn! And the matress episode is my favorite episode!

I think glee is so dumb the show is takin a turn for the worst the music was so much better in the beginning the music was better and the plot has these ridiculous turns which is just bad

I definitley didn't know it was based off of Prospect's Show Choir! I for sure watch "GLEE" and enjoy it. I loved when they remade "Total Eclipse of the Heart". My favorite episode was last week's when "GLEE WENT GAGA"!!!!!!!!

So here's the thing about Glee. The plot line behind the entire series is loosely based off of one teacher's "life" during his time at Propect. Mr. Cevak (choir director at Palatine) helps out with the musicals at Fremd and he basically told me what was going to go down in the show before this new season came out/new episodes came out. If you know the Prospect's life occurances, you know the "loose" plot of what the show will be.
Anyways. I think the show is terrible. I don't get it, and I don't know why it's so big. But hey, that's just me. It's obviously doing well.
