"if we could choose our own books then it would make summer reading so much easier for me. if i dont like a book it is extremely hard for me to read it and understand it enough to write a paper about it."

What if it happened to us?

We are all aware of what is going on in Japan right now, and how devastated their country is. There was a major 9.0 earthquake and a tsunami that struck their coast on March 11, and the sad part was, Japan was built to be ready for earthquakes, but there still was great destruction and many deaths. Following that, the reactors at their nuclear power plant started to dysfunction and start on fire, which released high amounts of radiation into the air, enough to be…

Pros and cons of having a job in high school.

Junior year in high school is probably the time when most students think about getting a job. We are all of legal age to work, and most of us are driving and need the money for gas or insurance, but is it really worth the stress and lack of free time?

Before I could get my license my parents told me I had to have a job first, in order to pay for my insurance, or else I couldnt drive their cars. That is the only thing that motivated me to get a job. I ended up getting hired at a movie…

What are websites like Facebook and Formspring doing to our society?

With the invention of Facebook people are now able to connect with family and old friends. Currently there are more than 500 million active users of this website. But recently the website has become a huge part of almost every teenager's life. Now we are able to see what everyone is doing today, tomorrow, or what they did over the weekend. This can be a good thing, but on the other hand once you are on Facebook you can't hide much from anybody. If something gets posted on Facebook be ready for… Continue

"There are many options out there, but to standardize is to tell a lot of teachers to learn something new or unfamiliar... it's a tricky subject.  That's why I'd love to start my own school, powered by Edmodo, Ning, etc :)"

9/11 Skylines and Turnstiles

I'm not usually someone who writes a lot , not publicly anyway but I do love to express my self through art, usually visual art but most of the time the art I make is influenced by something . In this case it's a song a written by one of my favorite musicians as a response to the feeling of horror and disbelief as he watched the Twin Towers in New York go from icons to ruins on 9/11/01. The song is sad,…See More
