As our final quarter approaches the end and junior year is finishing up, we are assigned our last Ning blog and all the contributions that come with it. There's really not much asked for us in American Studies. Our Ning assignments are our primary assignments for a majority of the year.

Recently, there was a culture project opportunity to see the movie "Food, Inc." which depicted how cruelly animals were treated so that people could stuff themselves with their remains. Now, I'm not a vegetarian, but I don't think some of the acts that I've seen performed to these animals are right. I've seen segments where chicken beaks are pulled off while the animal is still alive, and I've seen them be thrown against walls for no reason at all.
