False Sense of Security?

As many of you walk around Fremd, you probably notice that most people don't even wear their IDs. I wanted to know if these IDs help the security of Fremd. I wanted to know if there was a real reason to wear these IDs. So in order to do this, I decided I would test the security policy. When I thought of ways to test it the best way that came to mind was to wear an old ID card instead of the one from Fremd.

So one day I would walk into school with my old Park District ID card.…

Standards Set Too Low

After being hit by a 9.0 scale earthquake, a nuclear facility was near a meltdown. This could be tragic if the plant were to cause a melt down. The Japanese government has been trying hard to keep this building from overheating by dumping water from the Pacific Ocean into the nuclear reactor. This is to keep the reactor from spewing out radiation like a snowstorm.

The Notorious Phone

Did you know that teens between age 16 and 20 are three times more likely to get into car accidents? So statistically speaking 75 out of 100 car crashes are caused by teens or invole teens. According to The Department of Transportation, in 2008, there were 80 young drivers, 39 passengers of young drivers, 37 occupants of other vehicles, and 8 non-occupants who were killed in car crashes. This comes to a staggering total of 164 people.

What are some of these causes?  One of them is…

Global Warming: Myth or Truth?

Everyone knows at least something about the globe and how we are ruining it. Yet, most peoople don't know whether it was caused by humans or if it is just a normal cooling phase of the earth. Truth is, humans have a huge impact on the globe. This is our home and we need to take better care of the earth.

Humans, as a race, have caused the earth damage by creating a hole in the o-zone layer. This layer is causing radiation from the sun to be trapped causing a greenhouse gas effect, meaning… Continue

9/11 Skylines and Turnstiles

I'm not usually someone who writes a lot , not publicly anyway but I do love to express my self through art, usually visual art but most of the time the art I make is influenced by something . In this case it's a song a written by one of my favorite musicians as a response to the feeling of horror and disbelief as he watched the Twin Towers in New York go from icons to ruins on 9/11/01. The song is sad,…See More
