As we all know, Fremd recently decided to use an alarm when a hard lockdown drill is in effect. Yeah sure, they’re only trying to keep us safe from all the terrible people who don’t have Ids on. But isn’t having an alarm a little obvious about what’s going on? If someone threatening is actually in the school, they’ll hear *beep beep beep* and see that kids are running inside classrooms and they’ll probably do the same.

Is being Atheist "cool" nowadays?
I have noticed that more and more of the people that I know are calling themselves atheists. Or a lot of teenagers will say “I’m supposed to be –insert religion here- but I don’t believe in it.” Why do teenagers do this? - Your Lake Geneva culture project idea will work fine. My suggestion is to take pictures, put them in a Photo Album here on Ning, and write some captions that connect what you did to the American Studies Big Ideas. That will count as a Ning contribution and culture project. If you want to add photos and write more extensively, you could also make it a blog post instead of a Photo Album.
