Lost Imagination

A couple of months ago, I was sitting in physical therapy for my foot when my physical therapist asked me about what I did for fun when I was little. I could remember playing four square, ghost in the graveyard, red rover, jump rope games and many other games that my friends and I would make up. The lady next to me, a third grade teacher, said that the kids in her class haven’t ever heard of those games! They don’t know what to do when they don’t have TV, video games or a computer to entertain…See More

The Price of Education

The Price of Education

As we’re getting to the half way mark of our junior year, teachers, friends, parents, & family, keep talking about college. “Where do you want to go?” “What are you going to major in?” Whether we like it or not, the time to pick a school is coming up soon. The question on my parents mind, as well as mine is “How do you plan on paying for it?”…

Can You Feel The Pressure?

Nowadays, it seems like there is so much pressure to succeed at everything we do. I’m sure a lot of parents try and push their kids to do well in school and at times it gets so overwhelming. All that they want is for their kids to study, study, study. Parents would rather have their child stay home and study on a Friday night or even on the weekend, than go out a be a kid. They want their child to get all A’s and take AP classes so they can go to a good school. But at times I think that parents… Continue

"There are many options out there, but to standardize is to tell a lot of teachers to learn something new or unfamiliar... it's a tricky subject.  That's why I'd love to start my own school, powered by Edmodo, Ning, etc :)"

9/11 Skylines and Turnstiles

I'm not usually someone who writes a lot , not publicly anyway but I do love to express my self through art, usually visual art but most of the time the art I make is influenced by something . In this case it's a song a written by one of my favorite musicians as a response to the feeling of horror and disbelief as he watched the Twin Towers in New York go from icons to ruins on 9/11/01. The song is sad,…See More
