I just finished reading The Vanishing of Katherina Linden, and it was so good. It was a mystery but it was set in Germany so I was able to learn about the culture.

I am currently reading "Columbine" by David Cullen.  I bought the book after we saw him at Writer's Week, but I did not have an opportunity to start reading it until spring break.  Although I am not very far in the book, it is really interesting.  It combines a story with facts which makes it so real.  I would recommend this book to anybody.  It has also opened my eyes because I never really knew what happened at Columbine High School, and this was a great way to learn what truly happened.

I love the author Ellen Hopkins so I started reading Identical. I could not finish it. It was very well written but one of the girls in the book was getting sexually abused by her father  and it was too graphic and sad that I cried and couldn't handle it. Since I wasn't going to finish it I had my friend tell me the ending and it sounded really cool so I might try to finish it. I love her books.

This week I finished an incredible memoir. It is titled Dry and it was written by Augusten Burroughs. This book is a reflection of his addiction to alchohal and cocaine. With the harsh reality of alcholism everywhere he turns , he also faces the stuggle of love and friendship. Be taken to the dark side with a twist of humor! Check it out!

A good book? Bit of an understatement! I read The Lost Hero a little while back and it was just so amazing! If you've read the Percy Jackson and The Olympians series, you definitely have to pick up this sequel series. It's really amazing and puts a new twist on the series. Some characters from the original series are there but it's still a new story. Personally, I think anything by Rick Riordan is worth picking up!

Everyone would know Richard the Lionheart the king who went on a crusade. and his brother king john who took the throne while he was away. you will also know eleanor of aquitance. these two historical figures is known. but thought king henry and queen elenor had a sons, there is a vague mention of their daughter. if you are interested of their daughter, you should read 'the Queen's daughter' by susan convey. it tells of a historical fiction of one of their daugter, Joan.

I'm reading Perfect Chemistry an it is such a good book! It sucked me in right away and I haven't been able to put it down since I started. It's like the perfect love storyand it takes place in mordern day Chicago. You see into the hard life of a mexican gangster and a girl that pretends to be perfect and untouchable by the world so she can keep her life at home a secret. As the book goes on you see how these two different teens intertwin.

9/11 Skylines and Turnstiles

I'm not usually someone who writes a lot , not publicly anyway but I do love to express my self through art, usually visual art but most of the time the art I make is influenced by something . In this case it's a song a written by one of my favorite musicians as a response to the feeling of horror and disbelief as he watched the Twin Towers in New York go from icons to ruins on 9/11/01. The song is sad,…See More
